Reliable power for diagnostic imaging

Solar and BESS for hospitals, clinics and imaging centers that can't afford interruptions.

Why power matters in imaging

Imaging equipment is sensitive to power quality and interruptions. A sudden outage can stop studies in progress and, for MRI, can affect the systems that keep the magnet cold.

A conventional UPS covers minutes. After that, you depend on a generator or on the grid coming back.

Our answer is the BESS: inverters and batteries that take over the critical loads and, day to day, use solar energy to lower your bill.

What we protect

We map your critical loads first, then size the system around them.

  • MRI (magnetic resonance)
  • X-ray equipment
  • Other diagnostic imaging equipment
  • Supporting loads such as air conditioning and IT

How we size it

  1. Map critical loads

Imaging rooms, cooling, IT and anything that must not stop.

  2. Define autonomy

How many hours the site must run without the grid.

  3. Size inverters and batteries

Inverters (kW) for the load, batteries (kWh) for the hours.

  4. Add solar

Panels that recharge the batteries and cut your daily bill.

Common questions

Does the BESS really replace the UPS?

In our designs, yes: the inverters and batteries take over the critical loads and work alongside the grid connection. During design we review each site's requirements and the equipment manufacturer's specifications.

How long can the batteries sustain the equipment?

It depends on the loads and on the battery size (kWh). We size the autonomy to your requirement. You can see the logic in the estimator on the BESS page.

Do we stay connected to the grid?

Yes. A hybrid system operates alongside your grid connection, and the batteries take over when needed.

Do you work outside Costa Rica and Colombia?

We currently install in Costa Rica and Colombia. For projects in other countries, contact us and we will discuss what is possible.

Talk to us about your clinic.

Tell us which equipment you need to protect and share a recent electricity bill. We will come back with a first sizing.
